PA’s IT expert Deepak Bharathan discussed how to determine what applications and processes are mission critical. According to Deepak, “mission critical” applications are simply the apps that support these mission critical processes.
"In an ideal world, all business processes within a company would directly or indirectly support revenue generation,” Deepak is quoted as saying. “But, in reality every process contributes differentially to this goal."
Deepak notes that the business processes that add the most value to the customer touch point are the truly mission critical processes.
