Battle is joined on two fronts

PA’s Rupert Chapman, head of IT infrastructure consulting, is quoted in a Financial Times report on cybersecurity. Rupert outlines the action the IT industry needs to take to deal with its vulnerability to attack by hackers and cybercriminals.

Rupert highlights the importance of seeing the business system as a whole, rather than a collection of individual components. He says, "Rather than looking at whether an individual technology or individual people are vulnerable, look at it as a coherent business system," pointing out that, "You might be secure in one part, but not be securing the total."
